Established in 2014 by the Vivekananda Educational Society (VES). The school has become a symbol of enlightenment, changing the lives of its students through education.

The school's journey began with a noble purpose: to provide education to the children of the coastal region, many of whom were involved in traditional fishing. Recognizing the importance of education and culture, Sri. Dilip Bhandari Ji, the respected Chief Donor, generously donated 4.60 acres of land, laying the foundation for academic excellence and societal progress.

Starting with just 28 students and three dedicated teachers, Bhagavan Sri Krishna Vivekananda Vidyalaya embarked on a mission to nurture young minds. Over the years, the school has grown significantly, now accommodating over 270 students and a faculty of 15 passionate educators.

What makes the school special is its dedication to inclusivity and diversity. Students coming from over 50 nearby villages attending classes, Bhagavan Sri Krishna Vivekananda Vidyalaya celebrates the diversity and ensures that every child receives quality education.

Sri. KCJ vivekananda Vidyalaya

Sri K.Chunnilal Jain Vivekananda Vidyalaya is situated in Anna Nagar, at the heart of Chengalpattu. It began its journey in 1982 under the Anna Nagar Munnetra Sangam with just 11 students and two teachers. Later, the Chengalpattu Educational Society and Chengalpattu Educational Society Trust took over the school, operating it under the Matriculation stream.

In 2017, the Vivekananda Educational Society took charge of Sri K.Chunnilal Jain Vivekananda Vidyalaya, and in 2021, the school obtained CBSE affiliation. With the blessings of Kanchi Kamakoti Swamigal and guidance from the Vivekananda Educational Society, the first batch of 10th CBSE board students appeared in 2022-23, achieving 100% results.

The CES and CEST members actively support the school in various ways, such as constructing the prayer hall, donating an RO plant, and paying fees for financially disadvantaged students. They also honor school toppers, class toppers, and sports champions with cash awards during the annual day celebration.

The school aims to provide quality education to first-generation learners from rural and tribal communities, nurturing them into responsible citizens of Bharat. It has adopted 25 remote villages around Chengalpattu, offering education to children who lack access to proper transportation. Educated women from the community volunteer to assist these children, instilling values and providing guidance. This is achieved through Samskar Kendras run by the school.

Currently, Sri K.Chunnilal Jain Vivekananda Vidyalaya has 540 students and 28 teachers, who work together to foster holistic development and showcase the talents of every student.

E.M.Subramania Reddiar Vivekananda Vidyalaya

Late Sri E.M. Subramaniya Redddiyar, a generous landlord and former MLA, harboured a vision of establishing a school, EMSR Vivekananda Vidyalaya, in his hometown Eruvelpattu, Villupuram district. Following his passing, his wife graciously donated 5.5 acres of land situated along the National Highway to the Samarpanam Seva Centre, which subsequently entrusted it to the Vivekananda Educational Society.

Venturing into a remote village, situated 100 miles away from Chennai, VES embarked on the mission of providing character-building education alongside state-of-the-art facilities within its own establishment.

Through the functions and celebrations, the talents displayed by the students year by year are awe inspiring. The act of inviting the neighbourhood government school students for the celebration of Vivekananda Jayanthi and conducting various competitions and distributing prizes have surprised the local community.

The words of encouragement from esteemed guests and visitors serve as a catalyst for the school's ongoing development.

Undoubtedly, EMSR Vivekananda Vidyalaya will continue to uphold the esteemed reputation of the Vivekananda Educational Society, fostering self-esteem and educational excellence for years to come.
